Video from Get Out There Magazine.. Start of the 10 k
A special thanks to Marissa Schroder from Get Out There Magazine for coming out and checking out our event. She even had the wherewithal to film this little brief clip of the start of the 10 k race. The winner of the 10 k race was Jakob Van Dorp from Wiarton. Hot off his previous two wins at the Log Rocks and Steel Multi-Sport Race, and the Storm the 10 Multi-Sport Relay.

“The Creepy Mile” Kids Walk/Run

Trek or Treat once again will be offering a “Creepy Mile” walk /run for kids. We want to make this a true family event and the 5 km walk can be a little bit long for those little witches and goblins legs. So we are offering a shortened 1.6 km course that leaves the host site and takes a short tour of the trails and ends up finishing through displays and into the finish line. The course is a true one mile course that is mostly closed roads and trails that will offer displays that aren’t too frightening for the little ones. This is our attempt to make it a fun even for everyone a couple weeks before Halloween!
Start Time: Creepy mile to start at 7:00 p.m.
Pricing:
*The fee is $20 for One Adult and One Child. There will be a $7 per additional child. You may register up to 5 members on one team:

One Adult plus One child: $20
Three in one family: $27
Four in one family: $34
Five in One family: $41 (up to three children only)
Racers already entered in the 5km or 10km will receive a $10 discount on their Creepy mile entry.
